The event: PENSHURST with Tony Wiseman, Acting Head Gardener
Where: Vestry Hall, Marden.
When: Tuesday 11th July 2017at 7.30pm
The Gardens at Penshurst Place are among the oldest in private ownership. With early records dating back to 1346, they are considered to be one of the most beautiful in England. There are 48 acres of Grounds, including the 11 acre formal Grade I listed Gardens.
This evening we are very lucky to have Tony Wiseman, the Acting Head Gardener, coming to talk to us about his work within these historic walls. Tony was the Deputy at Penshurst for a year and a half and before that was a Head Gardener for a charity, working with people with special needs in Northern Ireland for 14 years.
